At
05.00 a.m we start walking to seaport for observation, this seaport established
about 90’s, the name of this seaport is Nusantara Port, this port connecting
Parepare with cities in Kalimantan, Surabaya and in the east region, this port
has a good facilities like parking area , customs duty, waiting room, and guide
ship. Then we go back to hotel for breakfast and check-out from hotel.
But
before that we visited Habibie-Ainun true love monument, this monument is a
gift from Parepare people for their wedding day, this monument was built at
2015.
After
check-out we go to carlos to buy some souvenirs, we can buy souvenir like
mantao bread, Malaysian cake snack, or houseware from Malaysia, etc. Carlos
actually is a café but around the carlos so many seller that sell Malaysia brand
like the famous one is Roka or Malaysia Milo milk, but I don’t buy anything
because we don’t have much time for shopping.
After from carlos we move to House of our third president (Alm) Prof. DR.Ing.H. Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie , this home is the place that Mr. Habibie was born, he spend his child until teen in here but after he graduted from junior high school he move to Barru regency. In this house there is an old mango tree that have grew since Mr. Habibie father’s lived in here. Actually this house not a museum yet but in 2020 it will be a museum, now this house is lived by the BNI staff so this house still good.
Then we go to Teras
Empang café and resto for lunch and pray Jum’ah, this place is very beautiful
because it has a concept like in the beach with the gazebo but not just that, behind
this resto there is a Tonrangeng river that can make you more relax and you can
